Well child appointments are incredibly important to both parents and children, and should occur at regular intervals during a child’s development. These appointments monitor healthy development, and detect potential health issues before they can become larger concerns. They also let your family develop a trusting relationship with your provider.

Our five office locations in the greater Phoenix area are beautiful, welcoming, and imaginative spaces. We’ve worked very hard to create environments where children can feel safe and parents can relax. ​

Well child checks should occur at the following ages:

  • 4-5 days after birth

  • 2 weeks

  • 1 month

  • 2 months

  • 4 months

  • 6 months

  • 9 months

  • 1 year

  • 15 months

  • 18 months

  • 2 years

  • Every year afterward

 

Depending on the age of your child, during a well child check, your child’s provider will evaluate:

  • Growth & development

  • Diet & nutrition

  • Speech

  • Hearing

  • Vision

  • Reading

  • Learning

  • Grades

  • Age-related safety issues

  • Vaccinations
