About Taliyah Martin, DNP

Taliyah is a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared family nurse practitioner with a passion for pediatric care and public health. Originally from Chicago, Taliyah moved west to attend Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and first discovered her love for pediatrics. She began her nursing career at Phoenix Children’s before transitioning into pediatric home health and later the Pediatric Emergency Department, where she cared for children and families in high-acuity settings while further developing her skills in emergency pediatric care and family-centered medicine.
Driven to expand her impact in healthcare, Taliyah returned to Arizona State University to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing in family medicine while continuing to focus her clinical interests on pediatrics. During her doctoral program, she also expanded her passion for public health and global medicine through two medical service trips to Africa, where she provided both clinical care and community health education.
Outside of her professional work, Taliyah values faith, family, and service. Life these days is especially busy and rewarding as she and her husband navigate parenthood with their 8-month-old twins. Her experiences as both a healthcare provider and mother continue to shape her approach to caring for patients with empathy, understanding, and authenticity.
