COVID-19 antibodies present in breast milk of mothers who have been vaccinated!
A recent study has shown that antibodies are present in the milk of breastfeeding women who have had their COVID-19 vaccines. These antibodies persisted for 6 weeks after vaccination.
This does not mean that the vaccine gets passed through the mother's milk.
What this means is that the protection that the mother's body creates in response to the vaccine is passed through the milk.
This suggests that breastfeeding can help protect infants against COVID-19.
